We are seeking a dynamic Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, editing and publishing content for online commerce - including descriptions, bullets, keywords, and enhanced content. This position writes engaging and informative content, assesses data needs for content projects and performs tasks related to new product uploads and content maintenance. This role’s responsibilities include organizing, editing and publishing online content, performing site updates and working with the Trade Marketing Team, Account Executives and Vendors to determine key priorities and deadlines. What we offer:Full-Time Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life)401(k) with company matchTraining and Career DevelopmentGenerous Paid Time-Off Responsibilities:Write, edit and proof content for online commerce through:Assessing data and information needs for content projects.Synthesizing meeting notes, sell sheets and other data into clear and engaging content.Creating a narrative or voice that represents a company or brand.Developing enhanced content, graphics and page layout for online retail sites.Develop and maintain relationships with clients & internal sales team: develop client-deliverables including setup sheets, proposals and more, and present information effectively and persuasively.Set up SKUs on retailers' operating systems.Work with the Trade Marketing Manager to help evaluate market segmentation, competitive analysis, product positioning and new product launch programs for clients' online business; also work with the team to keep product information up-to-date on our servers.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Management, English, Technical Writing or related fields or equivalent job-related work experience required; preferably in Journalism, Marketing, Math, or Finance - writing and analytical background necessary0-2 years of experience in e-commerce or writingAvid web userProficient in Excel spreadsheets •required•Strong writer with an eye for creating engaging contentExperience in how to tell a story using words, graphics, and rich media
