Job Description:
The Head of Brand & Marketing Communications will be a steward
of the Ingredion brand and will lead
branding strategy, brand guidelines and activation. The brand
architecture will be developed, managed and enforced by this
role.The position will lead the global brand & marketing
communications Center of Excellence, a global team of global and
regional marketing communications team members and selected
external agency representatives.The position will provide the
Marketing Communication direction across the organization for all
external trade communications leveraging the Center of Excellence
capability. In close cooperation with the Global Segments and the
regional marketing communication leads, the position will ensure
smooth activation of all communications worldwide.This role will
ensure the best marketing communication practices are adopted by
all marketers, and any new marketing agency will be vetted by this
position to ensure a One Ingredion approach and consistency.As the
Head of Global Brand & MarCom, your responsibilities will include:
Developing overarching Brand & Marketing Communication vision and
strategy to elevate and differentiate IngredionDeveloping brand
architecture and managing and enforcing brand governanceAccountable
for all thought leadership activitiesDriving Marketing
Communications planning process and deliverables with internal
stakeholders and agency partner/s, including development/approval
of SOWs, writing briefs/briefing agency, managing timelines,
deliverables and budgetDeveloping 1 enterprise wide communications
plan inclusive of global and regional communications
activitiesExecuting all global & regional marketing communication
plans to deliver the business objectives, including product
launches and campaigns, to drive awareness and demand of new and
existing solutions ensuring best possible ROI from the
activitiesOverseeing strategic and creative design of marketing
communications activities and materials including advertising,
website, thought leadership, social media, video production, live
and virtual events, and client presentationsDeveloping global media
campaigns, advertising, and all kind of PR visibility on print,
online and social media activities (with a specialized team on
behalf of Marketing, HR and Corporate Communications)Developing,
updating and monitoring a global / centralized calendar of events,
social and campaign strategies and ensures regional
alignmentManaging regulatory and legal review process for external
facing materials to ensure we consistently release compliant
materialsSelecting and managing agency partnersMeasuring and
reporting results through monthly report, to continuously
improveDeveloping best practices for branding and marketing
communicationManaging resources and budget within the Brand &
Marketing Communication CoE teamPrioritizing budget allocation and
managing this to deliver maximum ROISupporting the career path
development for employees in this sub-functionThe Head of Global
Brand & MarCom position is well-suited for you if you bring: Deep
expertise in the development of B2B marketing communications and
branding strategiesExpert in marketing communications
methodologies, techniques, channels, best practicesStrong
leadership and influencing skills to effectively work in a matrix
organizationStrong storytelling and presentation skillsDemonstrated
leadership skills including the ability to effectively set
direction, coach, guide and develop employees and create an
environment of positive accountabilityAbility to coordinate many
complex activities/projects simultaneously and direct successful
solutionsQualified candidates will have: 15+ years of experience in
Marketing Communication and Brand, min. 5 years in B2B, MBA
preferredExperience in managing and leading larger team in a matrix
organizationProject Management experience (incl. budget)Strong
written and oral communication skills required as well as the
ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and use
influencing skills effectively in a cross functional
