Job Details Position Summary The Senior Estimator will lead the estimating process for a variety of commercial construction projects, ensuring accurate cost evaluation and supporting strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep construction cost knowledge, and collaborative problem-solving to prepare competitive, high-quality estimates. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage comprehensive cost estimating efforts for pre-construction and bidding phases. Review project documents, specifications, and drawings to identify scope, risks, and cost impacts. Prepare detailed and accurate quantity takeoffs, cost analyses, and project budgets. Collaborate with project leadership, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain and evaluate bids. Identify value engineering opportunities and recommend cost-effective alternatives. Maintain estimating databases, historical cost information, and project benchmarks. Support proposal preparation and participate in client presentations as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Five or more years of experience in commercial construction estimating or a similar role. Strong proficiency in construction cost estimating software and Microsoft Office tools. Excellent understanding of construction methods, materials, labor costs, and market pricing. Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively across teams. Preferred Skills Experience with construction management or estimating platforms such as Procore or similar systems.
