Job Description Job Description Job Title: CNC Swiss Operator 2nd Shift 2PM-12:30AM Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Operator to join our team. The primary role involves operating and maintaining CNC single turret lathes to produce high-quality parts according to blueprint specifications. This position requires a strong attention to detail, ability to read and interpret drawings, and a thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). The ideal candidate will prioritize safety and precision in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Operate single turret CNC Lathe Machines with Live Tooling capabilities. Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, pin gages, bore gages, and plug gages. Manually deburr parts during the machining process. Make offsets to tooling under Fanuc controls. Identify and resolve machining issues such as tool wear to maintain customer-required dimensions. Accurately record production data, including quantities and quality inspections. Follow all safety protocols and ensure the workspace is cleaned and organized. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with CNC, SWISS, Lathe, and Blueprint machine operation. Knowledge of Hardinge and Nakamura CNC machines. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
