Essential work you’ll do The following essential functions are the critical duties an employee must be able to perform either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation Partner with the maintenance team to increase runtime across the facility through targeted PMs and rapid response Support day-to-day production to keep machinery running and parts flowing without interruption Execute work orders, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical/electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on manufacturing equipment Complete weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance tasks Communicate malfunctions and fixes clearly to the oncoming shift and department supervisor Work safely to keep yourself and your teammates incident free Handle other duties as assigned to support operations An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. Skills and competencies Create and maintain clear work procedures and documentation Use calipers, depth gauges, and diagnostic instruments to identify and resolve issues Mechanical expertise Read and interpret blueprints Welding and torch-based fabrication Gears, transmissions, and belt systems Leveling/aligning lathes, horizontal machining centers, and boring bars Install new ballscrews and bearings Advanced Fanuc and Mazatrol knowledge Shaft alignment and lubrication technology/application Solid CNC machining knowledge Safe use of overhead cranes Electrical know-how Ladder logic diagrams; relays, limit switches; basic wiring; motors, drives, and power supplies Power distribution and systematic electrical troubleshooting Hydraulic & pneumatic systems Troubleshoot using prints; work with valves, pumps, cylinders, and seals Qualifications Education : Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology preferred Experience : 8 years across mechanical and electrical maintenance/repair Licenses/Certificates : Journeyman card holder preferred Proficiencies Mechanical troubleshooting CNC machine repair and installation Journeyman’s License Electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair High-voltage systems Troubleshooting CNC machines Tools & technologies you’ll work with CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC) (Fanuc, Mazak) CNC Lathe (2–4 axis) (Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Dmg Mori Seiki) CNC Mill (5 axis VMC) (Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Dmg Mori Seiki) CNC Lathe (5 axis) (Mazak, Okuma, Doosan, Dmg Mori Seiki)
