Job Description:
Job Responsibilities: Position Summary: Wisconsin Community
Services (WCS) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to
oversee all technical functions related to our Electronic
Monitoring and Drug Testing programs. This position will primarily
be based in Waukesha, with responsibilities that may extend to our
Milwaukee Administrative office and the Milwaukee Courthouse
Complex (Safety Building). The role involves equipment
installations, maintenance, direct observation drug testing, and
compliance with WCS and Alcohol Monitoring Systems (AMS) policies.
Essential Functions: - Set up and administer the GPS/SCRAM program
according to AMS guidelines. - Supervise WCS GPS Program
Participants in various counties, ensuring timely installation,
maintenance, and removal of equipment. - Complete enrollment and
data entry for all participants in SCRAMNET. - Review and resolve
scheduled maintenance and communication alerts. - Report violations
and alerts according to program protocols. - Manage participant
agreements and ensure compliance with payment guidelines. - Notify
and follow up with agencies and participants based on Daily Action
Plans provided by AMS. - Maintain inventory and secure control of
all equipment at multiple locations, reporting any losses. -
Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Electronic Monitoring
and Director of EM Operations regarding daily operations. - Conduct
drug testing (urine and oral), adhering to chain of custody
requirements in Milwaukee and Waukesha County. - Provide backup
coverage for weekend/after-hours drug testing. Other Duties and
Responsibilities: - Perform additional job-related duties as
necessary. Job Qualifications: Personal Attributes: - Commitment to
ethical conduct, agency policies, and cultural sensitivity. -
Ability to build professional relationships with program staff,
participants, and external agencies. Knowledge, Skills, and
Abilities: - Understanding of the court system, case management
principles, and offender monitoring. - Experience with web-based
software and data entry preferred. - Strong writing skills and the
ability to multitask effectively. - Certification with EM equipment
required within 60 days of hire. Minimum Qualifications: -
Associate’s degree in criminal justice or a related field. -
Preference for candidates with Intoxicated Driver case management
experience; other related experience will be considered. - Valid
driver’s license and insured automobile required. pm21 Other Job

performed in both office environments and community settings,
averaging 40 hours per week with flexible hours. - Travel required
for equipment installation and maintenance. - Interaction with
