Information $2,422 per week About The Position Job Title: Emergency
Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
Nursing - Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12 Hour
Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in
Emergency Department in a fast-paced facility License: Registered
Nurse License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
Must-Have: - 3 years of Emergency Department experience in a
fast-paced environment - Cardiac rhythm interpretation skills - IV
skills and basic knowledge of critical care drips and medication
administration - Experience with TPA administration, blood
administration, and procedural sedation - Code blue experience -
Triage experience (strongly preferred) Description: Emergency
Department position available for nurses with a minimum of 2 years
of experience. The role requires working 12-hour night shifts with
an every other weekend rotation. No on-call requirements. The unit
sees a high volume of patients daily, including a diverse patient
demographic from neonates to geriatrics. The Emergency Department
is equipped to handle a range of ED diagnoses and has a heavy
mental health population. Patient ratios are 1:4 during the day and
night based on acuity, and fast track ratios are 1:6. Support on
the unit includes 24/7 unit secretaries, ED techs, and mid-level
providers. ED physicians are available around the clock, along with
an ED educator for ongoing training. Charting is conducted through
an electronic medical record system. Holiday expectations involve
working 2 out of 4 major holidays or every other one. Scrub color
is flexible, with a professional appearance required.
