Pay Information $1,977 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS / CPR Must-Have: - BLS / CPR - Basic EKG interpretation - IV starts and blood draws Description: EKG test needed for submission. Position available in the observation department on the first floor. This area comprises 16 beds with a patient ratio of 1:5. Equipment used includes EKG machines, alaris pumps, bladder scanners, and SCD machines. The electronic medical record system in use is Epic. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Preferred candidates should be willing to take on charge responsibilities and precept when needed. The unit primarily serves medical/surgical and short-stay patients. Team-oriented, can-do mentality, and kindness are essential personality traits for this position. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs.
