Midwest Animal Hospital is expanding in 2026 to launch a comprehensive 24-hour Emergency & Critical Care service, and we’re seeking skilled, dedicated Emergency Veterinarians to join us at the ground level. Comprehensive Services: Our busy hospital offers a full spectrum of general practice care including preventative medicine, dental care, reproduction, acupuncture, rehabilitation, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, boarding, grooming, and daycare. Flexible Scheduling: Choose from 3x12 or 4x10-hour shifts with a mix of day, swing, and overnight options - no mandatory overnight-only schedules unless you want them! Typically 2 weekends/month with options for 1. We build schedules thoughtfully, with days off to recover between night and day shifts. Competitive Compensation: ProSal Model with base ranges of $140k–$150k for new grads and $160k–$175k for experienced ER vets. Plus, a $20k sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and student loan repayment options. Advanced Resources: Access cutting-edge diagnostics and surgical tools, including digital radiology, CT scan, ultrasound with certified techs, endoscopy, and laser therapy.
