Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Bloomington, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,452 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Bloomington, Illinois, 61701! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Must-Have: Skilled in labor and delivery; preferably experienced in all LDRP and nursery areas Description: This position requires working in a Labor and Delivery setting with a focus on providing care during labor and postpartum. The unit has 12 LDRP rooms and two triage rooms. The average number of deliveries is approximately 700 per year. Staffing ratios follow AWHONN guidelines, with 1:1 during labor and 1:3 for postpartum couplet care. A Charge Nurse is present each shift without a patient assignment. Support staff includes OB techs and unit secretaries. Neonatology providers are available in-house 24/7. RNs are required to troubleshoot respiratory support equipment, with assistance from respiratory therapy. The electronic fetal monitoring system used is Obix with Phillips monitors. Shifts are 12 hours, with rotating weekends and holiday requirements. Traveling RNs must work every other holiday. Floating may be required hospital-wide depending on staffing needs. Scrubs are provided by the facility.
