Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Ability to float to multiple
units and provide care to diverse patient populations. - Ability to
manage care for both acute and chronically ill cardiac and
pulmonary patients. - Ability to develop, implement, and modify
patient care plans. - Skill in medication administration and
evaluating medication effects. - Skill in preparing patients for
procedures and managing post-operative care. - Skill in IV
venipuncture and blood administration. - Ability to document care
accurately using EMR. - Ability to educate patients and families on
care plans and discharge instructions. - Ability to provide
constructive feedback and assist in professional development of
peers. - Ability to handle conflict management and maintain
professional communication with team members. - Skill in critical
thinking to assess patient status and take appropriate action. -
Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team

safety standards including fall precautions, pressure ulcer

Responsibilities include performing all duties specific to the
scope of service. You will maintain up-to-date and accurate
documentation of nursing care. You will complete initial
assessments upon patient admission and develop appropriate plans of
care. You will implement plans of care, nursing interventions, and
patient care procedures. You will modify plans of care based on
continuous evaluation. You will communicate with others directly
and privately when necessary to resolve issues. You will confer
with colleagues to expand your knowledge base. You will identify
your own learning needs and take initiative to begin appropriate
solutions. You will fulfill all requirements of departmental
competencies. You will float to various inpatient units and provide
direct nursing care. You will conduct and document assessments,
nursing diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluate patient care.
You will act as a resource to staff from various units. You will
coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members. You will
manage care of acute and chronically ill cardiac and pulmonary
patients. You will implement interventions as needed, including
medication administration and evaluation of effects. You will
prepare patients for procedures and provide pain management. You
will discharge patients and provide instruction for safe transition
from hospital. You will answer call lights, ensure basic care is
provided, and maintain professional communication with all team
members. You will provide post-operative care for complex surgical
