Description: The purpose of this unit profile is to provide an exceptional understanding of the unit. Profiles will include essential details to assist in identifying highly qualified staff. EKG testing is needed upon submission. The position role is for a Cath Lab Technologist in the specialty of Cardiac Cath Lab. The unit consists of 2 Coronary Suites and 1 Electrophysiology Suite. Patient ratios in the lab are 1:3-4. Equipment used includes Philips Allura, Axurion, and Philips Xper. The electronic medical record (EMR) system in use is EPIC. Preferred skillset includes EP training, being a team player, and self-motivation. The type of patients in this unit primarily deals with cardiac care. Candidates are expected to adhere to the dress code, which involves wearing hospital-provided scrubs. Unacceptable attire includes anything outside of the hospital-issued scrubs. On the first day, candidates should enter through the designated entrance. Clear directions will be provided for navigating to the lab area.
