Job Description Job Description We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Medical Assistant to support clinical operations by cross-covering open shifts and assisting with referral and care coordination workflows. This role is designed as a full-time entry pathway with the opportunity to transition into a dedicated Medical Assistant position supporting a single provider. Key Responsibilities: - Provide clinical support across multiple providers and locations as needed - Room patients, obtain vital signs, and assist with basic clinical procedures - Manage and track patient referrals, authorizations, and follow-ups - Coordinate care with specialists, insurance providers, and internal teams - Support inbox management, patient outreach, and scheduling coordination - Ensure accurate documentation within the EHR (Epic preferred) - Maintain workflow efficiency during staffing gaps or high-volume periods Qualifications: - Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical experience preferred - Strong organizational and communication skills - Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, team-based environment - Experience with EHR systems (Epic experience a plus) - Interest in professional growth within a clinical setting
