Job Description:
New restaurant looking for a Chef with previous experience in
kitchen design and layout. The restaurant will specialize in
burgers, wings, and salads. The restaurant is being built in a
vanilla box and the design will be free from any previous, existing
kitchen constraints. The initial hire will be a consulting job for
the design of the kitchen and preparing and costing a comprehensive
equipment list. The compensation for the kitchen design and
completing and costing the equipment list to be agreed upon by both
parties. After the completion of the initial consulting job, the
Chef will have the opportunity to apply for the full-time position
in the new restaurant. The restaurant will be in the southwest
suburbs and the full-time position will pay $65,000 to $85,000 per
year. The owners have 20 years of prior successful restaurants in
this market. Management is committed to providing a work
environment which will ensure the comfort, safety, efficiency, and
enjoyment of the entire staff. A healthy work/life balance for all
staff will be integral to the operational strategy of the
