/ Engineer Location: Chicago, IL Schedule: 2 days/week in office
Duration: Long-term contract Must Have: Financial Services
experience. The Full Stack Developer / Engineer will build secure,
scalable, and reliable technology solutions with minimal oversight
to support the client's global marketplace and risk management
platforms. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain
secure, scalable, production-ready applications - Write clean,
modular, and reliable code with strong focus on backend Java
development - Develop application modules and unit tests with
minimal guidance - Support debugging and design of automated test
frameworks - Conduct system-wide and integration testing - Create
and maintain test artifacts and support artifact reviews - Work
within a Continuous Integration environment using Jenkins and
Ansible - Collaborate with team members to independently design and
deliver technical solutions Required Qualifications - 5 years of
software engineering experience - Strong Core Java development
background - Hands-on experience with Multithreading - Strong
backend development expertise - Good UNIX knowledge with prior
industry experience - Experience with automation testing, including
Cucumber - Experience with Jenkins and Ansible in CI environments -
Financial Services industry experience is required Nice to Have -
