TransForce is looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious Local CDL A Truck Driver to join our team. As a leader in staffing and compliance solutions for the transportation sector, we pride ourselves on connecting top-notch drivers with our reputable clients, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient shipping operations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work locally, allowing for regular home time while supporting the logistics needs of our respected client base. Operate a tractor-trailer or other large vehicle to transport goods locally. Ensure timely delivery of freight as per client specifications, adhering to all safety and legal standards. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper working condition and report any maintenance concerns. Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service status in compliance with state and federal regulations. Coordinate with dispatchers and other team members to manage schedules and routes efficiently. Handle documentation related to cargo, delivery notes, and customer communications professionally. Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Proficient in operating a commercial heavy vehicle. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to navigate various electronic log and transport management systems.
