Job Description:

PAM Transport, a premier North American transport and logistics provider since 1980, is seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Over The Road (OTR) Driver to join our team. As an OTR Driver, you will be responsible for safe and efficient transport of goods across multiple states, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the integrity of freight. This role requires compliance with safety guidelines and a commitment to represent PAM Transport’s reputation for reliability. Safely operate a Class A truck over long distances while complying with federal and state regulations. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspection and maintain the vehicle in good condition. Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and transport legal loads. Plan routes efficiently and manage schedules to meet delivery timelines. Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status in compliance with state and federal regulations. Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pick up operations. Ability to operate a tractor trailer proficiently and safely. Strong organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB). Ability to sit for extended periods of time, perform physical tasks regularly, and lift up to 50 lbs. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Clean driving record. Must have passed a DOT physical examination.
