Job Description:
Our client, a leading logistics organization, is seeking a
dedicated and efficient 2nd Shift Dock Worker to join their team.
As a 2nd Shift Dock Worker, you will be part of the logistics
department supporting shipping and receiving operations. The ideal
candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, mechanical
aptitude, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment
effectively, which will align successfully in the organization. Job
Title: 2nd Shift Dock Worker Location: Cudahy, WI Pay Range:
$22/hr. Shift: 2nd Shift 12noon-8:00pm What's the Job? Load and
unload freight from trucks and containers using forklifts or clamp
trucks. Accurately pick orders and prepare them for shipping,
ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Maintain an organized
dock area, ensuring materials are stored safely and properly.
Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and
manage order fulfillment. Perform routine maintenance checks on
equipment to ensure safe operation. What's Needed? Mechanical
knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Experience with
order picking techniques and materials handling practices.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures in a warehouse
environment. Proficiency in operating forklifts, clamp trucks, or
similar warehouse machinery. Understanding of warehouse management
systems for efficient inventory tracking. What's in it for me?
