Job Summary: As a Paint Technician at Folding Guard, you will be responsible for preparing and applying paint and coatings to our products, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our stringent standards. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of paint application techniques, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and applying primer. Mix and match paints and coatings to achieve desired colors and textures. Operate and maintain spray equipment and other painting tools. Apply paint and coatings to products in accordance with specified procedures and quality standards. Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures. Record and report on inventory levels of paints and supplies. Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and production goals. Continuously seek improvements in the painting process to enhance efficiency and quality. Attend training sessions and stay updated on new painting techniques and industry best practices. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in industrial or automotive painting is preferred. Knowledge of various painting techniques and surface preparation methods. Ability to mix and match colors accurately. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle heavy equipment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work in various environmental conditions, such as heat, humidity, and around fumes.
