  What We Are Looking For
  
  In this unique manufacturing role, you will be assembling and testing fiber cables and cassettes that are critical to our Data Center business. Fiber cassettes are a rapidly deployable fiber optic connection between the trunk cables coming into a building or data center and the patching cables into the live equipment in the data center.
  
  If you like detailed and intricate work with your hands, this might be the job for you! The job consists of performing very detailed work of delicate fiber optic strands that are 1/3 the diameter of a human hair! These strands will be separated into the individual fibers, inserted into connectors, and then polished to ensure 100% transmission of communication signals. These fiber strands will be tested with high tech equipment to ensure proper transmission, are then secured in a cassette housing, and finally sealed to prevent tampering after shipment.
  
  What You Will Bring
  
• High school education or GED equivalent
• 3-5 years of related manufacturing experience
• Advanced work is carried out which may involve the use of equipment. Work may involve maintaining complex records, dealing with non-routine queries, analyzing data, or preparing standard reports. Up to 2 years of practical experience typically required and backed up by intensive training for a few months.
  
  We do not conduct drug screening as part of our background screening process for any position. We will continue to do impairment checks on the job and will test for all drugs and alcohol after any incident.
