Full-time role
PM shift hours 4PM- 12AM
Primary Job Duties
- Welcomes families and new residents to the unit
- Answers telephone for the nursing units, take messages or
appropriately direct calls, handles inquiries in a pleasant and
professional manner
- Filing, managing nursing correspondence and maintaining
resident records
- Maintains appointments for all residents, ensuring that
resident and family have been notified and confirming that
transportation has been arranged with resident family and
documented appropriately
- Prepares documents for transfers, discharge, and appointments
such as labs, medication list, etc
- Assists nursing personnel in the feeding and direct care of
residents as the need is warranted
Requirements:
- Knowledge of medical records regulations and release of health
information
- Must be IDPH Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant
certification preferred
- Must be CPR certified
- Must possess strong computer skills
- Long Term Care experience preferred
