Employment Type: Full-Time (Overnight Shifts)
Salary Range: $26-$33 per hour, commensurate with experience and certifications/licenses
Benefits: Eligible for full-time benefits packagePosition SummaryForward Labs is seeking a dedicated and skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at UIC. This full-time overnight position involves conducting comprehensive sleep studies, analyzing sleep data, and collaborating with physicians to support patient care. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) with a valid Illinois license, prior experience in sleep medicine, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care across all age groups.Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive polysomnographic studies, including diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies, on patients of all ages.
• Accurately analyze and interpret sleep data, identifying abnormalities and preparing detailed reports.
• Collaborate with physicians to provide actionable feedback on sleep study results to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant records and documentation related to sleep studies.
• Assist in the implementation and integration of new sleep lab technologies and protocols.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on sleep study equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for patients during overnight studies.Qualifications
  • Required Certifications:
    • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential.
    • Experience:
      • Prior experience in sleep medicine, including conducting and interpreting polysomnographic studies.
      • Skills and Competencies:
        • Strong understanding of medical terminology, particularly in sleep medicine.
        • Exceptional patient care skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients of all age groups.
        • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting sleep study data.
        • Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on sleep lab equipment.
        • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with physicians and healthcare teams.
        • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for accurate record-keeping.
        • Availability:
          • Ability to work full-time overnight shifts.Compensation and Benefits
