Details Responsibilities Own client relationships and SEO
performance from onboarding to execution Develop and refine SEO
strategies using client feedback, competitive analysis, and market
research Build quarterly content and keyword roadmaps aligned with
business goals and pipeline objectives Perform advanced keyword
research with a focus on search intent and funnel mapping Advise
content teams on production priorities based on SEO impact Conduct
technical SEO audits and translate findings into prioritized
actions Provide content and on-page recommendations based on
analysis and SEO best practices Analyze internal link structures
and suggest anchor text and placement improvements Deliver backlink
insights and targets to outreach and link-building teams Monitor
and interpret SEO KPIs such as traffic, rankings, and conversions
Identify underperformance early and pivot strategies to meet
campaign objectives Lead regular client calls, quarterly business
reviews (QBRs), and strategic presentations Stay ahead of industry
changes—LLMs, AI Overviews, algorithm updates—and incorporate
insights into client strategy Collaborate with stakeholders
including developers, marketers, and writers to drive results
Contribute to internal SEO frameworks, resources, and documentation
Represent the agency with executive-level professionalism and
clear, confident communication Requirements Bachelor's degree and
at least 5 years of experience managing SEO clients in an agency
setting Proven record of helping SaaS clients hit lead or pipeline
generation goals through SEO (able to provide examples and metrics)
Experience managing 8-10 SaaS SEO accounts at the same time (with
$5k–$30k retainers), delivering full-scope strategies across
content, links, and technical SEO Strong communication skills and
experience leading client calls, reporting, and executive level
presentations Demonstrated success contributing to SEO strategy and
execution Expertise with technical SEO, on-page, and off-page SEO
best practices Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as
Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Surfer SEO, Google Search Console,
Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Looker Studio Experienced using
GenAI/LLM tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for research and
analysis Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage
