Job Description:
Job Title: Medical Technologist Profession: Medical Technologist
Specialty: - Duration: 13 Shift: 2nd Rotating Hours per Shift: 5 x
8 Hr Experience: Two years of clinical laboratory experience
preferred License: Certification by the American Society for
Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent required before hire
Certifications: - Must-Have: Bachelor's degree in Medical
Technology or related science Description: The Medical Technologist
performs laboratory procedures using established and approved
protocols. These procedures require the broad exercise of
independent judgment and responsibility with minimal technical
supervision. This role is responsible for quality control,
instrument maintenance, and specimen procurement and processing.
Other duties may be assigned as needed. Rotating second shift hours
include 11:00 - 17:30, 13:00 - 21:30, and 14:00 - 22:30.
