Those stories are part of what makes this such a special place to work. \n Job Overview \n The Fragrance RSS Colleague is responsible for providing professional services to customers by selling and demonstrating fragrances and related items, as wells as contributing to the success of the department. The colleague is also responsible for fulfillment and performing other duties as necessary. \n Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability. Plus, build community by joining one of our Colleague Resource Groups and make a difference through our volunteer opportunities. \n Some additional benefits we offer include: \n \n Merchandise discounts \n Performance-based incentives \n Annual merit review \n Employee Assistance Program with mental health counseling and legal/financial advice \n \n Access the full menu of benefits offerings here . \n What You Will Do \n \n Provide exceptional customer service in all aspects of total store and have the ability to satisfy the needs of our digital and physical customers by making appropriate partnerships when necessary. \n Explain and demonstrate use of fragrances through actual application or card application \n Partner with Fragrance Counter Manager or CSX Mgr of inventory and other inaccuracies \n Attend product training classes and seminars \n Ensure proper presentation, organization, storing, and replenishment of stock \n Participate in pre-selling and sales driving events to maximize sales \n Ensure timely processing of new receipts, damages, testers, and return to vendors (RTVs) \n Ensure work area is free from hazards and work in a safe manner \n Adhere to Asset Protection and inventory control and compliance procedures \n Be in compliance with all hygiene standards \n Follows shortage programs and procedures \n Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities \n Dependable attendance and punctuality \n \n Who You Are \n \n High School Diploma or equivalent required. \n 1-2 years related experience. \n Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers. \n Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities. \n Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities. \n Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays. \n \n Essential Physical Requirements You Will Perform \n \n This position requires lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.\n \n Involves standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 50lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders \n Reaching, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping and color vision. \n \n Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions \n \n About Us \n This is a great time to join Macy’s!
