Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Harvey, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,745 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Harvey, Illinois, 60426! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Must have state RN license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Competency in rhythm strip interpretation. Experience with initiating and maintaining cardiac drips such as dobutamine, amiodarone, and cardizem. Description: Assess acute changes in patients and work in a fast-paced environment. Chronic Vent experience is preferred. Use of EKG is required. Registered Nurse must be competent in rhythm strip interpretation and is required to pass EKG strip test. The nurse must manage cardiac drips without titration and may need to titrate cardiac drips. Responsibilities include all aspects of tracheostomy care and management, with respiratory therapy available if needed. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with diagnoses such as myocardial infarction, arrhythmia, cerebrovascular accident, syncope, diabetes ketoacidosis, congestive heart failure, post-pacemaker care, and end-stage renal disease. The daily census on the unit is approximately 35 patients. The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6, with occasional adjustments to a maximum of 6 patients. CNA ratio may be between 10-12. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, and pharmacy.
